IMOLA AND THAT FULL CIRCLE MOMENT

This weekend, Formula 1 engines roar back to the Enzo and Dino Ferrari Circuit in Imola, for the first time with fans in the stands since its return to the calendar in 2020.
The Santerno track has been a constant presence in shaping the sporting and professional experiences of both me and my family. A magical place that has spanned decades and accompanied generations.
An equally magical stage that, when the F1-75 hits the track this Friday, will witness a full circle moment more than fifty years in the making.
Fifty-four years to be exact, from the first development tests of the 312P in 1968. From tuning the carburetion of that V12 by my grandfather, to the advancements achieved today through Ferrari’s new simulator.
The family anecdotes of motorcycle races in the '60s and '80s, which I grew up listening to. The joys and pains (quite literally) of my own single-seater races. My first professional laser scan of a circuit. The statue of Ayrton Senna. Working behind the scenes with a Formula 1 team for the first time.
It all happened here.
The stories of two and four wheels transformed into emotions I’ve personally experienced—first at the wheel, and later through my own projects.
